MISSION STATEMENT:  Established by the members of the Shasta Builders Exchange, the SBE Training Center, a non-profit corporation, exists to advance the Northern California construction workforce through the continuous education of entry level, journeyperson and management personnel.  The SBE Training Center also serves as a means to increase general public awareness of the career opportunities within the construction industry and to nurture career techincal education in both surrounding high schools and colleges.

Since its inception in 2001, the SBE Training Center has lead the industry through the development, implementation and operation of several widely recognized training programs for the benefit of SBE members and the local construction industry as a whole. Staying true to the intent of its creation, the SBE Training Center courses have been designed through a collaborative effort between SBE management and SBE members.

The rapid growth and expansion of the SBE Training Center has warranted the construction of its new building to house the current and planned additions to the training that it offers. The newly completed 16,000 square foot Training Center is fully equipped with state of the art technology for all of your training needs. Two classrooms and a 200+ person presentation hall make this facility truly ‘built for training.’

Expanding its market, the SBE Training Center has grown its course offerings to include more general business, safety, and computer related courses, welcoming the greater business community to its center. Though traditionally a construction trade center, the SBE Training Center offers courses in human resources, workers compensation, business management, customer service, and other areas of continuing business education.
